Internet

     Internet has long been known to the world, the internet has many users around the world. It is the most effective source of information. However, it has many advantages and disadvantages.
      One of the advantages probably the source of information. There is huge amount of information available for just every subject known to man ranging from government law and services, trade fairs and conferences, market information, new ideas and technical support. Furthermore, internet is very useful in business matters. Payment can be make by just using internet rather than go to the bank. Email is now essential communication tools in business. It is also excellent for keeping touch with family and friends. The advantages to email it is free of charge when compared to telephone, fax and postal services.
       Internet also good for community. Communities of all types have sprung on to internet. Its a great way to meet up with people of similar interest and discuss common issues. Many services are now provided on the internet such as online banking, job seeking, application and hotel reservations. Often these services are not available  off-line or cost more.
        Now for the disadvantages of internet. If you us use internet, your personal information such as your name, address, etc can be accessed by other people. If you use credit card to shop online, then your credit card information can also be stolen which could be akin to giving someone a blank check.There are new type of crime and security threats. Its not 100% safe due to hackers and people who steal sensitive information and other people's identities.  
         For children, people and muslims. There are threats of pornography and pedophiles. Many children want too grow up to quickly and meets strangers which may lead to rape etc.Children and adults bot tend to spend too much time online and wasting time. Some adults, for example and this leads to a communication breakdown and problems interacting with others.
         As the conclusion, the internet surely have many advantages and disadvantages to us. It is up to us to use it wisely otherwise it will harm us.

Facebook

Facebook is the world's famous social network. It has been introduced to the world since 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg. Mark Zuckerberg was a student at University of Harvard. Nowadays, Facebook has millions of users at any age. Facebook has become one of the most important social network because it has many advantages and disadvantages.

There are many advantages of using Facebook. We can add friends so that we can tighten our relationship that lead to rapport. Besides, we can be friend to people that we not know before so that our relationship between society will be much better

Furthermore, knowledge are easy to find in Facebook. We can gain knowledge about religion, society, music, entertainment, science and many more. We can also sharing our knowledge by posting  a benefit status or create a group. Sharing is caring. By the group created, discussion will be more effective and easier if we stay for each other.

We can also make a wall for widen our bussiness. We can advertise our products so that people can easily find our products to buy rather than go to our shop to buy. Customers can make the payments by using e-payment or bank in method.

Time is gold. Use Facebook can waste our time if we are not using Facebook wisely. It is called wasting time if we keep chatting about futile subject. Playing games can waste our time as well.

As a conclusion, we need to use Facebook wisely so that we can gain valuable knowledges. Besides, fill your time with benefit activities so that your time not just run away. Use time wisely, it will safe you later!

LUCY BECK

A young seventeen year old lady who got a job as a secretary at Ross and Banister’s

Characteristics:

She is a young, shy, a low achiever, not competent and highly qualified and insecure graduate of secretarial studies.

Textual evidence:

Lucy Beck was young and small and mouse-coloured, easily overlooked.

She had a lonely ‘O’ level and a typing speed that would make a tortoise laugh.

Characteristics:

She has a very low self esteem, inferior complex, no confidence and pessimistic

Textual evidence:

She is wondering who will employ her as she is aware of her inadequacies.

Lucy assumes that there are more qualified and brighter people than her who are qualified for the job vacancy.

Characteristics:

She became ambitious, determined and optimistic to change her life style.

Textual evidence:

Lucy is tired of being poor and she is fed up with macaroni cheese and baked beans. She is also sick of wearing second-hand clothes. She gathered her strength and determined to get a job to get out of poverty.

Characteristics:

Lucy becomes enthusiastic and a quick learner when she got a job. She also became courageous when she has to face the conflict with the spirit of Miss Broom.

Textual evidence:

Lucy got a job at Ross and Bannister’, a small firm with a factory just outside the town. She is so excited so came to her work place on Monday morning, at ten to nine and waited as the door to the office is closed. She faces problems when each time she types, the word ‘QWERTYUIOP” appears on the paper. When she finds that it was the ghost of Miss Broom, she became courageous and keep typing and liquid the unwanted words and reached the end of the letter by triumph.

Characteristics:

Lucy became sympathetic, caring, insightful and understanding after knowing Miss Broome’s history. She took the initiative to look for an amicable solution.

Textual evidence:

Lucy is shocked when she heard the news about Miss Broome from Harry Darke. She was forced to stop working after she had been working for forty three years. Lucy sympathizes Miss Broome

and tells her that Mr Bannister is only acting out of concern as he was worried of her health. Lucy managed to convince Miss Broome that the late Mr Bannister needs her help in the after life.

memory of childhood

When I think back about my childhood , many vivid memories come to my mind. Some are pleasurable and some are painful.  Regardless the quality I attach to these memories, they form the early experiences of my life and they help to make me the person that I am today. 

The most vivid memory that I have is about the time I fell from a coconut tree. Though I fell about three feet, I dislocated my elbow. I still can recall the process of falling and the immense pain and discomfort afterwards. I was about six at that time. That accident made me extra careful when I climbed a tree even though I am quite sure that I would never climb a tree after this. 

Another memory spring into my mind is the memory when I played a sort of traditional games with my friends. We love to play hide and seek and I was the one who expert in hiding myself from being caught by my friends. Hahaha…Now, all my friends have transferred to another state, leaving me alone in this neighbourhood. I was so disappointed. I hope I am able to meet and gang out with them this coming weekend as what we have promised before.

The Harmful Effects Of Smoking

         Smoking is bad for our health because it is very harmful and causes many diseases. Statistics show that the number of smoker around the world keeps increasing from year to year. Smoking forbidden found at restaurant and place around the shopping mall.
        The number smoker is majority come from teenagers. Why do they smoking? Many peoples believe that they are smoking because they want to look mature. Besides,they are also smoking to fell free and to peer pressure.
        Smoking causes many diseases such as larynx, mouth cancer, lung cancer, and cigarette addiction. Cigarettes contain carcinogens that would make one to suffer with cancer. The physical change also can happen to one who is smoking such as yellowish stain will appear on the fingers and teeth. Besides, facial winkles will appear at younger age. It also can blacken the lungs.
         Smoking also effect the environment. The cigarettes smoke can cause air pollution. Continuous of air contamination can cause haze. Air pollution harden the living things to breath. It also effect the vision of eyes.
          Smoking habit also danger the people around. It is known as secondary smoker. The secondary smoker is higher risk to get disease than the primary smoker. This is proven that lung cancer is often happen in secondary smoker even though they are not smoking.
          How to reduce and and stop smoking??Many method that can be try to the smoker .First,make an appointment with a specialist doctor that is expert in reducing and stop smoking .Second, you will need to obey all the doctor suggestion and advice. Third, fill the time with activities that can give advantage to you .Forth ,feel grateful to god that gives us lives.
           Other than that , the social association need to organize a campaign to tell the society about the disadvantage of smoking . This method can reduce the number of smoker and maintain the peaceful of the world .Beside, the law about smoking need to enforce .
       As the conclusion we need to stop smoking to ensure the happiness of life.

QWERTYUIOP

 Young graduate named Lucy Beck who has just finished her ‘O’ levels at Belmont Secretarial College. She is a slow learner herself but she is determined to find a job in order to get out of poverty. Fortunately, she is offered a job by Mr. Ross, the Manager of Ross and Bannister’s. However, she begins to face problems from her first day of work. She encounters many peculiar incidents when she starts using the electric typewriter. Whenever Lucy types, the words “QWERYUIOP” which is on the top lines on the keyboards will keep on appearing. She is determined to keep on her job, so she tries to overcome her fear. Later, she finds out that there is a spirit lingering around the office. She finds out from that Miss Broome, a former secretary of the late Mr Bannister was forced to retire after working for forty-three years. That was why the spirit of Miss Broome is adamant in holding on to her position as the company’s secretary. Towards the end of the story, Lucy tries to get rid of the spirit that has been haunting that place for many years. She assured Miss Broome that the late Mr Bannister needs her in the afterlife. She managed to convince Miss Broome to leave and finally she could maintain her job.

Since I have  this blog,I never post anything about me. Okay, let me introduce myself. My name is Ahmad Izzuddin Hilmi Bin Ismail. I have many nicknames such as 'din', 'dinelmi' , 'hilmi' , 'dinmi' and  many more. But, lots of my friends call me 'din'. Hmm..today is my birthday..I was born on 25th March 1996. I live in Cheras. But, I was lived in Sentul when I was a kid. I love to  draw and read comics(not book..haha). I got  5A's in UPSR and 7A's -2B's in PMR. huhu....Pity to all of hostel students who facing the absence of water in hostel...like every year,this problem seems like it will be more worst. Many students facing problems like washing clothes. Who to be blame on this problem? Hmm..we should not blame to anyone. Consider this problem as a test from Allah to increase our iman. Maybe before this we not be grateful to Allah. On this oppurtunity, lets us be grateful and save water to continue living with harmony. Dont make this problem as a obstruction to success in study. Save water,it will save us later!

European Cup 2012

Have you ever heard European cup? European Cup is one of the famous cup in the world. 16 teams will take part in group stage. This cup will be held in Ukraine. The first fixture of this cup will start on 8th June 2012 and the final fixture will be end on 1st July 2012. What team will be the winner? Spain will be a nigthmare for other teams.
